History's Heroes Timeline Characters Books

PRICES SLASHED!!

History's Heroes Timeline Character Books were designed as companions to the History's Heroes Activities Books; however, they can definitely be used to make any American history program more hands-on and memorable.

CREATE BLOCKS OF HISTORY

The symbols on each group of Americans create visual BLOCKS OF HISTORY. For instance, the explorers all have telescopes and flags of the country they sailed for. The settlers all have hatchets as symbols, while the Revolutionary War heroes are in uniform and wear three corner hats. All the Founding Fathers have white wigs, and if they were President, they have a presidential seal. The first timeline Jessica ever designed consisted of paper doll figures (she laminated them when the baby kept taking her art work off the wall and eating it) with these symbols. After all the figures were up on the timeline, eight-year-old Jason stepped back and observed the timeline. "Hum…I see…all the explorers with their telescopes are in the 1400-1500's…all the settlers with their hatchets are in the 1600's and in the 1700's we have three cornered hats for the Revolutionary War and white wigs for Founding Fathers. That's easy enough!" Jessica looked at him in amazement. He was right. Why try to match specific dates you promptly forget when you can learn large concepts that you never forget?
