KONOS HOW I


 

What section of history and what literature is covered in KONOS HOW Year I?

HOW I covers the Ancient World from Abraham coming out of Ur to pre-Rome which is the Etruscans and Celts.  Within its scope is history, English, art and Bible for one year of high school covering the How and Why to study history, Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Hebrews, Greeks Assyrians, Phoenicians, and the foundations of Rome.  Students receive one year of credit for history, English, art, and Bible and can receive a half credit for drama, geography and even worldview/philosophy depending on how many hours are spent on each.

The unit on the Hebrews can be found no where else. Jessica traces all the Jewish feasts given to Moses by God and as each is celebrated, she shows which feasts have been fulfilled and which are yet to be fulfilled.
